Alex Collings is the one of the most sought after DJs on the London and international scene and has seen a hugely successful rise up the DJ ranks for over 10yrs now. Playing a range of styles enabled him to build an impressive DJ CV playing major clubs across the globe, from Ibiza to London to Tokyo & to the USA. Some highlights include 3 years as the resident DJ at Es Paradis in Ibiza, a weekly residency for Slinky and MTV in Tokyo, a weekly residency for Slinky in Ibiza, and various monthly residencies in the United States.

In 2005, Alex decided to come back to London for good. A unique sound that fused progressive house with elements of tech-house & electro, mixed with his infectious energy behind the decks, quickly brought him a full diary of guest sets across London at illustrious clubs such as The Cross, Canvas, Egg, The Key, Heaven, Pacha, and Ministry of Sound. It was actually a set at Pacha that earned him an appearance in the November 2006 issue of Mixmag as the months “Readers Saint”.

He made his festival debut at HiFi South (formerly Homelands) in May 2006, and then followed that up with an appearance at London festival South West Four in August. His monthly residency for the massive “Dirtbox” night at Turnmills in London won him even more fans and a full diary across the UK and Europe.

2008 looks set to continue in the same vein, but with a stronger emphasis on production, building on the success of his solo productions: “Last Man Standing” and “White Horses”, as well as his two collaborations, “Durty Munky” and “The Little Voices (That Tell Me)”.

Alex is an impressive, unmistakable talent, who is totally at ease, whatever genre he happens to be playing, and his success is down to a combination of persistent hard work and an ability to read, entertain, and surprise a crowd during each and every one of his sets.
